Busy time of the year!

I know it’s been a few weeks since I updated my blog - but it’s “crunchtime.” Sales managers and reps want ideas on how to finish strong in 2009 so that the momentum builds into 2010. By the way, you probably realize that 2010 is just over 60 days away - right? Yes, it’s crunchtime!

What goals do you have for the next 8 weeks? What did you want to accomplish that you have not yet? Who can help you reach your goals?

The most popular questions I am getting in my coaching and speaking business revolve around how to be more proactive, the most profitable “High Return Activities,” how to stay positive with clients and Focused on today and the future. A lot of people are dealing with more transitions, mergers, changing roles and challenges they have not faced in years. So, there is a lot of fear out there right now.

These challenges can be met - if you put some thought into it and don’t seclude yourself into a vacuum chamber. Brainstorm with other leaders, who have experience and vision. Do NOT get involved with the complainers and pessimists. They’ll suck any energy and hope you have - if you get in their grasps.

This week, I want you to get very, very clear on what YOU want to accomplish. How can you be better than you are right now? What are the most important activities for you to accomplish or at least work on tomorrow? Write that list tonight. Which resources can you reach out to - as you strive towards your goals.

Work smart, eliminate those activities that are wasting valuable time! Work as though your time is worth $500.00 per hour. Delegate the “stuff” that isn’t worth Your time but someone else loves to do - and they are better at it than you are.

You can do it - once you know what “IT” is and devise a plan to get it done. Then “GO DO IT”

Remember, “IF you believe you CAN or you believe you Cannot - You are right.” - Henry Ford
