Finally - some good news!

What a year this has been for many of my friends and peers. I actually know more people who are unemployed than the number of those who are working. Those who are not working had fantastic careers and were superstars in sales and leadership. This whole financial mess hurt a lot of people, stalled careers and challenged confidence and self-esteem

But finally, in the past week, I’ve heard from a handful of buddies who were just hired back into the roles they previously held. Ahhhh, there is hope! I sense a a change in the air.

If I had the opportunity to do anything right now, I’d create one of the BEST sales teams in America, from the fallen superstars who lost their job due to downsizing or a collapse of their previous employer. This would be like Mr. Warren Buffett buying stocks of great businesses when everyone else is selling. There are excellent salespeople throughout the United States who are highly motivated and ready to knock the doors down with sales success. They are hungry, ready and competitive as heck.

Those are the people I’d hire. They have “fire in their bellies” and want to be a leader again. Imagine the team you would assemble?

I believe that many of these Superstar salespeople would be willing to work for a smaller base salary, and fired up to make a ton in commissions. I know I would! Friends, have hope. I believe we are “getting out of the woods” and the economy and career opportunities will improve.

You know my daily message by now: Persevere, keep your skills sharp, be ready to make things happen and be the very BEST that you can be. It’s time to kick butt again!
