Low energy, high stress, limited time? Change habits and change your outlook!

The stress-levels are sky high, energy is low, morale is below sea level and my friend is really frustrated. I asked her what she was doing for exercise. “Neil, I just don’t have time or energy anymore.” That is a comment I hear often these days. Remember this. It doesn’t matter what is going on in your career, life or day. You control your attitude and your activity. Take responsibility and give yourself permission to get daily exercise! It will inspire you and raise yours self-esteem, energy and alertness. read more…
Make a change in your habits starting today. As a personal coach, I give you permission to do something positive for you! Go for a walk, a run or try a hot power yoga class. You may feel lethargic before you start, but most people will tell you that they feel GREAT while they are exercising and after they finish. I created a diet for people who prefer to sit on the couch, eating nachos, drinking diet coke and complaining about their weight and lack of energy. The diet is called GOYA. The idea behind the name is Get Off Your Arse!
Do something that moves your body, circulates blood away from your butt and more towards your brain. Decide what time each day that you will exercise for 30 minutes and stick to it for 21 days. If you don’t feel better, call me for a free personal coaching session by phone.
I’ve been going to a fantastic Hot Power Yoga studio in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Open Doors is like a friendly community of wonderful people, with high self-esteem, positive attitudes and great energy. Many of us would be called type “A” because we are driven, motivated and successful, but after 90 minutes of power yoga, we are all very mellow, smiling as much as we can with our clothes still on and feeling like we just had a relaxing vacation. Do we deal with the daily stresses of our own careers, family issues and relationships? Of course we do. But exercising on a daily basis makes life easier to handle. Find a studio near your home. Just try yoga for 7 classes and see how you feel.
One of my yoga pals, who is now certified as a teacher, has lost over 100 pounds since he started 5 years ago. He feels great, looks fit and younger and has energy to burn. It all started because he was tired of being tired and decided to take responsibility for his own life.
GOYA. (get off your arse) Do something today. Get inspired. Get motivated. Follow an enjoyable exercise regimen for 21 days, then blog me with your good news. Have fun!
