New Blog from Optimist Island

Most people who know me well, will tell you that the first two words that comes to their mind when my name is mentioned is positive attitude. The third word is optimism! It’s a great reputation to have in life!

Throughout my life since I was just a young teen, I have shared a positive attitude with those around me. Yes, there were a few pessimists whom I drove NUTS ~ but I don’t care much for pessimists anyway. I surround myself with fellow optimists and people who I describe as happy about life. They are “winners” with exciting goals, great ambition and tremendous discipline. I Always feel energized when I’m around them. (see below for more)

Make things happen!

This week I gave “Business Building” seminars at 6 different sales offices. The feedback was excellent (yay) and of course I had plenty of fun. I’ve stated in an earlier blog, that my goal this year is to be a Beacon of Hope! There are so many sales reps who feel like the daylights have been beaten out of them. Sales are down and so are attitudes.

I know it’s difficult, but this is when we have to dig in, continue plugging away and look forward to better days. They WILL return and I can promise that. Our country has a history of rebounding from great challenges, tragedies and yes, even terrible economies.
